By order of the Traitors… get this season’s look with John Lewis.

  • Claudia Winkleman’s style on hit show sparking searches on JL.com
  • Checked Blazer catching attention of Traitors-inspired fashion influencers
  • Women’s fingerless gloves proving a surprise hit, with searches +900%

It’s been the show on everyone’s lips, the BBC One game-show Traitors responsible for brightening our dark, wintery evenings is reaching its final conclusion tonight.

As well as enjoying each nail-biting episode and guessing which Traitor is next to be caught - it seems there’s another topic of conversation on our lips. Claudia Winkleman’s dream winter wardrobe has been turning heads across Britain with chunky knits, checked blazers and even kilts becoming  sought after items.

Blazers have been a real standout as searches for ‘women’s blazer’ are up 188% since the new series dropped. All Traitors fans will know a chunky knit has also been an essential in Claudia’s Wardrobe and the ANYDAY Melange High Neck Jumper has been in hot demand.

Checked prints have been popular throughout the show, and customers have been able to recreate the look with our Checked Blazer. Having launched just last week, it’s already featured in @wearsmymoney’s roundup of classic looks from the series. Camel shades have also been popular, with customers looking for options that resemble Claudia’s country-chic style. We’ve seen a 67% in searches for ‘camel blazer’ since the show’s launch, with our Wool Blend Longline Double Breasted Blazer an elegant piece to copy the look.

For customers inspired by the Highlands backdrop searches for kilts have increased by 92% compared to this time last year.

There’s also been a spike in interest for ‘women’s fingerless gloves’. Perhaps  influenced by Claudia’s look, combining  elegance and edge, searches have soared by 900%. For those wanting to copy not just Claudia’s style, but the castle’s interiors too, and our ANYDAY Dine Cup and Saucer Set was the set featured at the breakfast table in each episode.

To play along with the new series, people have been brushing up on their detective skills with the Traitors game - our bestselling TV show board game, which beat fan favourites Taskmaster and House of Games to top spot over the festive period.

Daisy White, Fashion Buyer for John Lewis, said:

“Known for her quirky style and cool looks, Claudia Winkleman is clearly everyone’s style muse, having starred on TV’s most talked about show.

"John Lewis continues to be the must-have place styling the looks - from trench coats to cosy knits, there’s something for everyone to recreate Claudia’s iconic style.”

Daisy’s top-picks for getting Claudia’s look:

  • Everyone knows the key to a Traitor’s success is being the leader of the pack, so let everyone know you mean business with classic Trench Coat.
  • This Silk Frill Blouse oozes elegance as the ultimate wardrobe staple
  • A Roll Neck always has a luxurious feel, made with 100% cashmere and Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) certified, it has an iconic Claudia feel, which can be dressed up or down.
  • We know that this Wool Blend Herringbone Jumper would go down a hit in the Highlands Castle.
