Christmas shop online

Our online Christmas shop has officially opened its doors, inviting early birds to start their festive countdown with ease. This year, we’ve dialled up the magic with a collection of decorations guaranteed to spark smiles and become the talk of every Christmas party. From whimsical baubles to elegant ornaments, every piece has been crafted to turn your favourite festive memories into playful keepsakes that will shine on your tree for years to come. Our tree offering is set to be popular this Christmas with pre-lit sprues now accounting for 70% of our total tree offering. The showstopper for this year,  the Aylesford Superlit tree, our most dazzling style yet with over 4,200 bulbs.

Beauty Advent Calendar

This year, the John Lewis beauty advent calendar is bigger than ever with a worth of £1,160. For the first time ever, the calendar will be available to pre-order via the John Lewis app for MyJL beauty members from the 3rd August. Retailing at £250, the calendar features 41 specially curated products across 25 drawers, over 50% of which are full size. In an exciting first for the John Lewis calendar, it features tech in the form of a mini UFO device from FOREO worth £129. This sits alongside new brand Skin Rocks and much loved favourites such as Aveda, Dermalogica, ELEMIS, Jo Loves, Medik8, Sisley and Trinny London. Customers can expect a range of products including mascara, fragrance, serum, body cream, setting spray, lip oil and sheet masks. 1 in 41 customers also have the chance of winning a mystery voucher, with prizes like a Shark tool and a Clarins Spa Treatment.

Top Toys

John Lewis has unveiled its list of the Top Ten Toys expected to dominate wishlists this year. The nation is witnessing a "Great Play Revival" as families prioritise intergenerational connection over screen time. This year’s curated list emphasises collaborative building, role-play, and outdoor adventure, with premium, long-lasting toys designed to bring families together. Alan Wright, Toy Expert and Buyer at John Lewis, said that "playtime" items now make up nearly half of all toy department sales, reflecting a national shift towards imaginative storytelling. Featuring highlights like the exclusive LEGO Winter Village Holiday Express and the Micro Scooters Gruffalo range, these selections aim to move families away from screen-based entertainment and back to the living room floor this Christmas.

Colour edit

A carefully curated collection of nine timeless colours designed to give anyone the confidence to play with colour. Created by in-house John Lewis colourist Melanie Archer, this harmonious palette spans lighting, textiles, accessories, and home fragrance. Effortlessly versatile, the John Lewis colour edit balances muted tones with bolder shades, allowing you to style them as single statement hues or mix and match them with ease.

Quilts

Cosy bedding is the last thing you might expect to see in shoppers baskets right now but searches at John Lewis are up 143% for Superking Quilts. Instead of sleeping under warm quilts, shoppers are using them as daytime decor, folding them at the foot of the bed at night.
Interest for Patchwork Quilts has also risen driven by John Lewis's new season quilts, with searches surging by 78%. Proof that great styling doesn't take a summer holiday!

Lighting

Lighting is no longer an afterthought, it's the main event, with a massive 64% expansion for John Lewis's AW26 collection, making this a landmark launch. Responding to consumer demand, searches for indoor lighting are up 674% year on year and this season John Lewis is drastically expanding its range to help brighten every corner of your home.

CD Players

CD players are experiencing a major revival, with searches up 96% month-on-month at John Lewis. Driven by Gen Z, Y2K nostalgia, and the desire to disconnect offline, customers are increasingly seeking intentional home audio setups from micro Hi-Fi systems to retro Crosley players that double as chic home decor.

Amanda Wakeley AW26

Amanda Wakeley returns exclusively to John Lewis following its debut last season with two drops for AW26. The first 16-piece collection launched on the 21st August in-store and online and focuses on modern, elevated wardrobe staples in premium fabrics.

Designed around the foundations of Amanda's signature Style DNA, the range sees the return of the much-loved Air Shirt, updated in two new colourways. Other heroes include a navy fringed cape, matching fringe skirt, high waisted leather trousers and silk two-pieces in navy and blush pink.

Back to School

Take the stress out of back-to-school shopping at John Lewis with award-winning uniforms and homeware essentials to get your kids and home ready for the new academic year. For the second year in a row, we are thrilled to have been named 'Best High Street School Uniform' in the 2026 Made for Mums review. Our durable uniforms are designed to last, with features such as adjustable waists and reinforced knee patches. Plus stain-resistant and easy to care fabrics mean they're made to be handed down for generations to come. Available now in-store and online at johnlewis.com.
