Gross sales at the John Lewis Partnership were up 1.4% versus last year to £2,207m. Waitrose & Partners gross sales (excluding fuel) were £1,047m, up 0.2% versus last year and up 0.3% on a like-for-like basis, despite reduced promotional activity. John Lewis & Partners gross sales were £1,160m, up 2.5% versus last year and up 1.0% on a like-for-like basis and outperformed the market by 2.0%

The John Lewis Partnership announced today it will reduce its operational greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050 at the latest, without purchasing offsets, in line with the pathway set by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to limit global warming to 1.5C.

Gross sales at the John Lewis Partnership were up 1.4% versus last year to £2,207m. Waitrose & Partners gross sales (excluding fuel) were £1,047m, up 0.2% versus last year and up 0.3% on a like-for-like basis, despite reduced promotional activity. John Lewis & Partners gross sales were £1,160m, up 2.5% versus last year and up 1.0% on a like-for-like basis and outperformed the market by 2.0%
