British cold-pressed juice company Daily Dose is proud to announce the launch of a limited-edition Apple Juice made using surplus fruit from the Waitrose Farm, the Leckford Estate in Hampshire. The special edition 900ml bottle will be available in Waitrose stores across the UK from 17th December, priced at £3.50 RRP, and will be on shelves for a limited period of time.
The collaboration was born when the Leckford Estate team approached Daily Dose with an opportunity: an abundance of apples grown regeneratively that risked going to waste. This was due to the 2025 apple season having a bumper crop due to hot weather, and due to lack of rain, fruit was much smaller in size. Daily Dose rose to the challenge, with the team helping hand pick the fruit alongside Waitrose Partners from the estates 9 hectare orchards.
The result is a delicious pure, cold-pressed apple juice made from 50% Leckford apples, celebrating British agriculture while tackling food waste head-on.
George Hughes-Davies, Founder of Daily Dose, said:
“The Leckford Estate is one of the most beautiful and sustainably run farms in the country, so to be invited in to help make use of their apples was an honour. This juice is exactly what Daily Dose stands for - repurposing incredible British produce and turning it into something delicious. We’re thrilled to bring this limited-edition bottle to Waitrose shoppers just in time for Christmas.”
Colin Pratt, fruit farm manager at the Leckford Estate, added:
“Teaming up with Daily Dose has been a brilliant collaboration. It’s a real celebration of British farming and sustainability, which perfectly aligns with what we know Waitrose food lovers value. The juice also tastes delicious and we can’t wait to hear what our customers think.”
Situated across a stunning 2,800-acre farm and country estate that champions regenerative farming, Leckford has been part of the John Lewis Partnership for over 90 years. The estate’s dedicated team of 100 Partners work year-round to grow, restore and protect the landscape for future generations. Partners help handpick the apple harvest from August through October, ensuring only the best fruit makes its way into each bottle.
A proud BCorp, Daily Dose manufactures all of its juice in its UK factory in Corby and rescues unwanted produce from UK farms and turns it into delicious juice, using the whole fruit - pulp, peel and everything else. The company has come a long way from its humble beginnings in a kitchen, using a blender George bought on eBay, to being stocked on shelves across the UK.
Notes to Editors
About Daily Dose
Daily Dose is all about the good stuff - no fillers, no fluff. Just bold, raw, cold-pressed juice made from nature’s best. Daily Dose started with a mission to get healthy and cut waste. Shocked by how much perfectly good fruit supermarkets throw out for not being "pretty," Daily Dose stepped in to give it purpose. They rescue unwanted produce from UK farms and turn it into delicious juice, using the whole fruit - pulp, peel and all.
From humble beginnings to high-speed bottling in their Corby factory, they are now stocked in Waitrose stores across the UK, and supply cafes and coffee shops (Gail’s, Ottolenghi).
