John Lewis appoints Vikki Kavanagh to lead commercial function

Vikki Kavanagh to lead John Lewis' commercial function. 

John Lewis has today announced the appointment of Vikki Kavanagh to run the retailer’s commercial function. 

Vikki joins John Lewis from YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP where she most recently served as Managing Director of both NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER.  Before her MD positions, Vikki previously held senior buying and merchandising roles at department stores including Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Fenwick.

Peter Ruis, Executive Director of John Lewis, said: "Vikki's extensive experience and proven leadership in the retail sector make her an invaluable addition to our team. Her strategic vision and commercial acumen will be instrumental as we continue to evolve and enhance our customer offering."

Vikki joins John Lewis in early April and will assume a role of Chief Commercial Officer reporting to Peter Ruis.
