Waitrose partners with PerfectTed to launch matcha drink selection onto café menus

Waitrose launches matcha drink selection in cafés.

  • PerfectTed matcha drinks will be available in all 127 Waitrose cafés from 7th January
  • The new, organic matcha drinks include Strawberry Matcha Latte and Vanilla Matcha Latte 
  • Searches for ‘matcha’ and ‘matcha powder’ up 133% and 676% over the past 3 months on Waitrose.com

Waitrose has partnered with renowned matcha brand, PerfectTed, to introduce new matcha drinks across all Waitrose café. The new flavours include Strawberry Matcha Latte and Vanilla Matcha Latte, both organic and ceremonial grade.

With searches on Waitrose.com for ‘matcha’ and ‘matcha powder’ up 133% and 676% over the last 3 months, it’s clear customers are embracing the matcha trend, recognising its health benefits and its source as a great slow release caffeine hit.
