John Lewis Liverpool is excited to announce its Eurovision 2023 lineup as the city gets ready to host the Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. Located in Liverpool ONE, the store is embracing all things Eurovision hosting a number of events starting from Monday 8th - Sunday 14th May.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor Kitchen Disco Eurovision Party
On Thursday 11th May, the second semi-final afternoon of Eurovision 2023, musician Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be in-store hosting one of her iconic kitchen disco parties. The event will include partying to some of Sophie’s favourite tracks alongside a fun fashion show styled by our Liverpool personal stylists for all to enjoy.
Serving and Celebrating The Local Community
Throughout the week, the store will host a local ‘makers-market’ where local businesses and artists will be showcasing and selling their best gifts, designs and souvenirs. Musical performances from local choirs will include the Liverpool Rainbow Chorus Choir who will all be fundraising for the Big Help Project supporting Liverpool’s Ukrainian community. We will also have live performances from previous Eurovision contestant Jemini and from Evangelina Zamula, the Ukrainian Junior Eurovision competition finalist in 2019.
In Demand Radio will be broadcasting live from the ground floor and there will also be fun and games with daily ‘Spin the wheel’ competitions where customers can winbeauty goodies and vouchers. We will also be offering festival glitter make-up sessions and there will be a fizz station serving complimentary prosecco.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Bus
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk bus arrives into the City with its plush pink interiors, light-up mirrors and multiple photo areas. It will be in situ between 11th to 13th May outside John Lewis Liverpool on Thomas Steers Way. Customers can discover an edit of Charlotte Tilbury’s best-selling Pillow Talk icons, latest innovations and the full pillow talk collection, everyone’s perfect shade, for every moment and every occasion. Charlotte’s Expert Retail Artists will also be on hand to give customers access to the make-up secrets of the red carpet, with a choice of eye, lip and cheek Quick Trick touch-up services.

We are also excited to raise money for The Big Help project who are supporting the Ukrainian community in Liverpool.
