Our cute chocolate fried egg Sunny Side Sam is back and he’s brought some friends along for the ride. Hip Hop Harri is bouncing into Easter carrying a scrummy salted caramel ‘carrot’ and Take it Slow Boe is a milk chocolate tortoise shell that is ready to go! We’re encouraging our customers to take some fun snaps of their favourite character and share them across Instagram using the hashtag #SamAndFriendsOnTour.
Our brand new Ribbon Easter Eggs are a taste of luxury at a great price. If you’re crazy about caramel, you’ll be sure to adore our Caramel Ribbon Easter Egg. For a more intense flavour we have our Orange Ribbon Easter Egg and if sweet and fruity is more your thing, our Raspberry Ribbon Easter Egg is a must try. Our two new delectable fudge flavours are the perfect bite-sized treats to share. Scrambled Fudge is a rich chocolate fudge swirled with squishy marshmallow and Carrot Cake Fudge is classic buttery fudge mixed with the flavours of carrot cake. Which will you choose?
We’re proud to continue our use of Fairtrade cocoa in all of our own-brand confectionery and as part of our efforts to remove unnecessary packaging where we can, we’re excited to announce that we’ve stopped using plastic trays and removed plastic windows from nearly all of our Easter confectionery. This has enabled us to reduce our overall packaging weight by almost 20%, saving nearly 1 tonne of plastic from going to landfill.
Sarah Breadmore, our Confectionery Product Developer, said: “This is truly our most exciting Easter range to date, not just because of the delicious innovative products but because of the incredible work that has gone into reducing our use of plastic. I am really excited to introduce new characters Take it Slow Boe and Hip Hop Harry and our brand new range of Ribbon Eggs in three different flavours. All of these tasty treats have been made using Fairtrade cocoa and the packaging is plastic window and tray free!

The master of curiosity and creativity has worked his magic again this Easter to create The Chocolate Dabbit. The dabbit, an image often used by researchers to test for creative ability has been turned into a playful edible Easter treat for the whole family to enjoy. The Chocolate Dabbit is a shape-shifting dark chocolate shell filled with decadent salted blonde chocolate truffle.
Also returning this Easter is the Heston from Waitrose The Golden Apple, Eggstraordinary Hen’s Eggs and the Eggstraordinary Speckled Eggs.

Is it really Easter without hot cross buns? Our customers are in for a treat as we’ve added some luxurious new flavours to our No.1 range. Our new No.1 Luxury Hot Cross Buns are a very special twist on the classic, made with a sourdough starter, butter and cream, and speckled with sultanas soaked in Earl Grey tea, and aromatic orange zest. If savoury is more your thing our new No.1 West Country Mature Cheddar and Stout Hot Cross Buns are a cheese lover’s fantasy! These buns are made with a sourdough starter, full-flavoured West Country mature Cheddar, a splash of stout and a pinch of cracked black pepper. They will make the perfect addition to your Easter breakfast.
Panettone isn’t just for Christmas! If dried fruit isn’t your thing, you’re going to love our supermarket first, Easter Chocolate and Orange Panettone. This rich, buttery bake is studded with candied orange and lemon peel and finished with milk chocolate and multi-coloured sugar sprinkles. This delicious Italian dessert will be enjoyed by all the family this Easter.
