Customers are making more considered product choices when shopping for food and drink, which can be seen in sales of our organic wines at Waitrose. Sales of organic wine have risen 36% and ‘organic wine’ searches have increased by 113% in the past three years.
To celebrate Organic Month this September, and for the first time ever, we will be offering customers money off all certified organic wines, with 100 options to choose from.
Victoria Mason, Organic Wine Buyer at Waitrose, said: “We have seen a really strong increase in demand for organic wines since the start of the pandemic. We are really excited to be supporting Organic Month by offering money off all of our organic wines for the first time.
“We know our customers will take this opportunity to buy their favourites and hopefully add some new wines to their basket too. With 100 organic wines to choose from countries including Chile, New Zealand and Spain, they will be spoiled for choice.”

Waitrose Duchy Organic Pinot Grigio Bag in Box 2.25L (£19.99 to £15.99)
A vibrant and fruity Italian Pinot Grigio, bursting with notes of ripe peach, melon, pear and honeysuckle. This wine is made from organic grapes, grown with minimal environmental impact in the warm Puglian sunshine. Waitrose 'bag in box' format delivers the wine in a sustainable way, minimising carbon emissions and keeping the wine fresh for much longer than a standard bottle once opened. A great wine to serve with seafood dishes.
Terre di Faiano Organic Primitivo (£9.99 to £7.99)
Terri di Faiano is a delicious and full bodied red wine produced with the best organic Primitivo grapes grown in the southern Italian region of Puglia. It is a wine with a lovely and intense ruby-red colour, aromas of rich dark fruit, a silky texture and big bright spicy flavours of dark cherries, vanilla and chocolate.
