- The 34 piece collection of denim, tailoring, occasionwear and accessories is available online and in 5 John Lewis stores
- The AW collection was well loved by fashion tastemakers such as Clara Amfo, Jessie Ware, Cat Deeley and Rachel Stevens and beat the launch week sales plan in the first day alone
- John Lewis is committed to supporting British founded brands as part of its ongoing BFC patronage, bringing exciting and unexpected designs to customers to bolster style credentials
Just in time for the occasionwear season, John Lewis is excited to announce the second collection in collaboration with contemporary label of the moment A.W.A.K.E. MODE.
Launching today, the 34 piece collection combines confident colour with sharp tailoring and unique details, offering pieces which are both refined and distinctive. Colour plays an important role in this collection, with playful pops of fuschia pink, vibrant green and citrus lime sitting harmoniously with versatile tones of off-white and black, creating a palette that will suit any summer occasion.
Favourites from the AW collection, such as the asymmetric jacket and curved trouser, return for SS in updated lightweight fabrications that feel fresh for the new season. These complement new additions including a woven pastel two-piece and a silk drape top in a bold pink hue. The white shirt and denim jeans are seasonal staples loved by the John Lewis customer and are reimagined with unique structural details and exaggerated silhouettes. The distinctive A.W.A.K.E. MODE asymmetric lines and laser cut detailing remain heroes in the collection and have been given a fresh update for the new season in circular shapes and new colour ways.
On the collection, Natalia says:- “It was a joy seeing our first collection in stores and I couldn’t wait to start working on Spring Summer. We wanted this launch to feel joyful and full of life so introduced vibrant colours alongside fluid draping which creates wonderful movement. These are balanced alongside sharper tailoring pieces that add sophistication to the range. The collection is versatile whilst still incorporating A.W.A.K.E.’s unique identity to create the perfect summer wardrobe.”

Queralt Ferrer, Fashion Design Director at John Lewis, says: “Our customers loved the blend of high quality fabrics and modern, unexpected detailing that the AW collection provided, so it was our goal to recreate this in a way that felt fresh for the new season. April is an incredibly popular time for customers shopping for summer occasionwear as Wedding and Races season gets into full swing, so we added some real showstoppers like the silk organza pleated skirt, structured bandeau dress and two tone pleated dress. What I love about the collection is that it features one of a kind pieces that inspire confidence when worn. They’re sure to have people asking ‘Where is your outfit from?’.”
The collection is priced between £69 for a knitted tank top and £349 for a pure wool blazer and will be available to buy in 5 John Lewis stores and on johnlewis.com.
