John Lewis is proud to announce its first collaboration with Sanderson, one of Britain’s most iconic design houses and fellow Royal Warrant holder. Launching on 20th March, this exclusive collection marks Sanderson’s first-ever high-street furniture range, bringing its timeless patterns to life in new and exciting ways.

Reflecting the heritage and craftsmanship at the heart of both brands, this collection will be one of John Lewis’s largest homeware collaborations to date. With the full range available online and selected pieces in all 34 John Lewis stores, it offers something truly special for every home.

The collection follows in the footsteps of previous collaborations, such as John Lewis X Collagerie and John Lewis + Matthew Williamson, building on John Lewis’s vision as the home of iconic, modern design. By combining market-leading own-brand creations with a carefully curated branded offering, John Lewis continues to establish itself as a leading destination for distinctive and innovative style.

Celebrating Sanderson’s 165th anniversary, the collection reimagines the brand’s archival designs across a range of furniture, lighting, bedding, ready-made curtains, wallpaper, outdoor and home accessories. From headboards and cushions to statement armchairs and a parasol, the collection blends timeless florals, botanicals and expert craftsmanship with a hint of British eccentricity, offering a fresh take on heritage design.

Camilla Rowe, Head of Home Accessories at John Lewis, said, “Collaborating with Sanderson on this collection has been an exciting journey. We’ve loved blending these two icons of British heritage. By reimagining Sanderson’s timeless archival designs across our furniture and homeware, we’ve created pieces that feel fresh, yet are embedded and honour their rich history. This partnership celebrates a shared commitment to craftsmanship and design excellence, offering our customers something truly special for the spring-summer season.”

Claire Vallis, Design Director at Sanderson Design Group, said, “Sanderson has been creating patterns that have a special place in people’s hearts and memories for over 160 years. What is so exciting about this collaboration is that we’re now creating new designs in homeware that will live on with future generations in their homes.

“It has been so wonderful to share our iconic archive of designs with John Lewis. This collaboration has been an absolute joy to be part of. Bringing together our shared love of home and passion for design, we’ve reimagined iconic designs through the lens of two great British brands and created a collection which we hope will be in people's homes for years – treasured by generations to come.”

The John Lewis x Sanderson collection will be available from 20th March 2025.

Since 1924, Sanderson has held a Royal Warrant for supplying fabrics, paint, and wallcoverings to the Royal Residences.

From importing to establishing printing works and acquiring businesses, Sanderson’s illustrious history cements it as the founding brand at Sanderson Design Group, continuing the legacy laid out by Arthur Sanderson.
