Join Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby Bhogal and our very own Waitrose Cookery School chef Alex Szrok at 6.30pm on 6th February for a live event showing guests how to achieve a restaurant-style steak, every time. Covering everything from choosing your cut, through prep, cooking sauces, and some inside tips for one of the all-time great dishes.
The menu for this interactive class includes a T-Bone Steak, Potato Pavé and greens - the perfect meal to learn in readiness for a delicious Valentine’s Day dinner. The class will also show guests the best wines to pair with this meal, including our brilliant No.1 Cederberg Syrah.
Kirsty Rolfe, Cookery School Lead at Waitrose, says: “Our supermarket-first interactive classes* have been an absolute joy so far, and all the team are really excited about this class for a Valentine’s day meal to remember! We hope this latest instalment of our free classes will turn a nation of steak lovers, to one of true steak experts, as they learn about choosing the perfect cut, top tips and techniques, as well as our leading animal welfare standards** here at Waitrose.”
The free class is available for customers to book a spot on here, with the recipes for the session also live so that customers can gather all the correct ingredients in readiness for the evening.
