The Partnership’s scope 3 emissions comprise 98% of our total carbon emissions. We are working hard with our suppliers and customers to reduce the impact in line with our commitments to reach net zero by 2050. Decoupling emissions from sales by capturing improvements in the supply chain will be key to achieving our goals.
We are actively working with some of our key agriculture suppliers to develop roadmaps to reduce the impact of the products they supply us, collaboratively exploring realistic, implementable pathways. Looking forward, we are seeking to establish roadmaps with further suppliers comprising a significant proportion of our scope 3 footprint.
Internally, we are prioritising the development of tools to empower partners to make carbon literate decisions, including a carbon packaging tool and, subsequently, tools focusing on transport and ingredient replacement.
In 2025, we are producing our climate transition plan which will define the Partnership’s approach to hitting our net zero goals. The transition plan will aim to project the Partnership’s impact out to 2050, as well as the impact of interventions that will reduce emissions in line with our commitments.
