Water supply and sewerage licence

John Lewis PLC hold a Water Supply and Sewerage Licence limited to Self-Supply (Licence numbers 087/2019/WL and 086/2019/SL).

The Licence is used to supply English John Lewis and Waitrose shops as well as our distribution centres and offices. The Licence is only used to supply sites where John Lewis PLC is responsible for water and sewerage services and therefore any landlord supplied sites are excluded. Our list of supplied sites is kept updated at all times to ensure our compliance with our licence conditions. Please note that due to the sensitive nature of some of our activities, sensitive sites are not published or disclosed on our website. The regulator, Ofwat, reserves the right to carry out periodic checks on the validity of the information that is published on our website and to request information about the sites which are not published, at any point in time. A list of our shops, which includes some sites that are supplied under the Licence, can be found at www.johnlewis.com/ourshops and www.waitrose.com/content/waitrose/en/bf_home/bf.html
