The John Lewis Partnership announces today that Paul de Laat has been appointed to the newly created role of Partnership Customer Insight Director. The appointment will be effective from 2 January 2013.
Reporting directly to the Chairman, Paul will be responsible for further increasing the Partnership's customer insight capabilities and will help develop greater understanding of shopping behaviour across John Lewis and Waitrose, supporting the divisional strategy and marketing teams.
Paul has held similar roles at Thomas Cook, O2 and Vodafone, and most recently at Lloyds Banking Group, where he was Customer Value Management Director. Paul has a strong track record of building insight capability to drive improved commercial performance.
