17 February 2012 Helen Weir appointed Group Finance Director The John Lewis Partnership announces today that Helen Weir has been appointed as Group Finance Director, taking over from Marisa Cassoni whose plan to retire was announced in September 2011.
05 January 2012 The Prime Minister presents Big Society Award to Waitrose for its work with local communities Today (5 January 2012), Waitrose MD, Mark Price, met Prime Minister David Cameron to receive a Big Society Award in recognition of the supermarket's Community Matters1 scheme.
04 January 2012 John Lewis Christmas trading statement - five weeks to 31 December 2011 John Lewis today publishes its trading update for the five weeks to 31 December 2011. Total sales were £596m, 9.3 per cent up compared with last year. Like-for-like sales were +6.2 per cent.
