Top twenty turn up for the Partnership

The John Lewis Partnership has been placed in the top twenty in the 2009 Britain's Top Employer project, which aims to highlight best human resources practice. Coming 19th overall with a score of 71 per cent, the Partnership was rated on pay and benefits, training and development, career development, working conditions and company culture, including CSR.

Run annually by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) the project combines comprehensive and independent company profiles written by leading journalists with in-depth research conducted by the CRF, the results showing just what makes a top employer. All participants filled in a questionnaire and those that met the minimum requirements were accredited with the CRF Quality Seal. Scores and company profiles have been published in the book Britain's Top Employers 2009.
