John Lewis Partnership Heritage Centre, Odney

Learn about the determination of John Lewis and the vision of John Spedan Lewis which has driven the business from its origins as a single draper and haberdasher's shop in 1864, through to the foundation of an employee-owned business in 1928, the acquisition of the Waitrose food shops in 1937 and post-war expansion of the Partnership's manufacturing businesses.

The Centre is open to the general public on Saturdays 10am - 4pm and to Partners, retired Partners and their guests on Thursdays from 10am - 6pm.

Visitors should park in The Grove car park, Odney Lane.  The Centre is located at the end of Odney Lane, over the bridge in Grove Farm field.  The Heritage Centre is wheelchair accessible and there is disabled parking available on site.  If you have mobility issues please telephone in advance to ensure we are able to make your visit more enjoyable.
